1 Purpose

This privacy notice applies to Vestigo Partners Limited with registered office at 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7AN (“Vestigo”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”) and you, the User of this website. Vestigo Partners Limited is the data controller and is responsible for your personal data. We are committed to protecting your information and handling it in a responsible manner.

2 The information about you that we collect

We may process information about you that is obtained in the following ways:

(ii) It is obtained from third parties; or
(iii) It is publicly available.

The type of information we commonly collect includes name and contact details (phone number, email address etc.), plus any other information that you choose to provide to us. You are under no obligation to provide any personal data to us, however we may require such information to respond to you appropriately and provide the services that you require.

The processing of your data may involve transferring your data outside of the UK. Where this is the case we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place. Currently, in the course of processing personal data, Vestigo do not transfer any data outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

5 How your data is stored

The security of your data is of utmost important to Vestigo. We have in place a number of measures to safeguard against loss, unauthorised access, or misuse of your data, including:

(i) Training our employees to ensure they understand Vestigo’s privacy obligations when dealing with personal data;
(ii) Restricting access to your data to only those members of staff who need it;
(iii) Putting in place electronic security measures such as firewalls, encryption and anti-virus/malware software;
(iv) Putting in place physical security measures such as pass cards for access and CCTV; and
(v) Maintaining procedures to react to any suspected breach, including notifying you and the regulator when required to do so.

We will not hold your information for longer than is necessary for the purposes of fulfilling the objective within the legal bases above, including any reporting, audit, legal and regulatory requirements. When determining the retention period for your personal data, we will consider the purpose for which the data was collected, the type and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm to you or others from the unauthorised disclosure of this data, and the legal, regulatory and reporting requirements of Vestigo.

6 Your rights regarding your data

You have a number of important legal rights relating to your personal data and the information we hold on you. In particular you have a right to;

(i) Request confirmation that we are processing your personal data and request a copy of the data that we hold about you;
(ii) Require us to rectify any incorrect information that we hold about you;
(iii) Ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you and to withdraw consent for us to process said data (to the extent that this processing was based upon that consent); or
(iv) Restrict or object to the processing of your data for a specific purpose.

If you would like to see a copy of the personal information we hold on you, you must make this request in writing. We will endeavour to respond within a reasonable period and in any event within the one month timeframe set out in the Data Protection Act. Vestigo will not charge you a fee to provide you a copy of your data according to your right above, however we reserve the right to charge a fee if your requests are clearly unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

7 How you can complain

8 Changes to this privacy statement

Vestigo reserves the right to modify or amend this policy from time to time as we deem necessary or as is required by law. When any changes are made we will amend the revision date at the top of this page and the modified or amended policy will apply from that date. We encourage you to review this notice regularly to remain informed about how we are processing your information. You are deemed to accept the terms of the policy on your first use of the website following the revision.
